What values or life lessons do you strive to instill in your child, and how do they embody those values?

At his age, I teach him that never to always feel entitled to things, you have to earn it. And also, in life, there are only two responses you get; YES or NO. When you’re given a negative response, you take it in good faith as you would a positive one (because crying doesn’t fix it) He’s gradually internalizing this each day.

What aspirations or dreams does your child have for their future? How do they plan to achieve them?

Osayi is the cutest 1 year and 5months old. He enjoys colouring at his age and never ceases a chance to handle a crayon on the nearest paper. He just might be an aspiring artist, and as his parent, I ensure he never runs out to materials for his to constantly discover himself through his creative expressions

What do you believe makes Iyosayi Nehikhare-Iyare truly special and deserving to win this contest?

Every parent wants the best for their child and my goal is to see my child 1000 steps ahead of me in opportunities and achievements and that’s why I am here. I believe he has so much to discover of himself and I’m dedicated to walking him through it all.

1. "The Next Child Star Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of Balloon Technologies LTD. An Organization registered in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.

2. It is an Online Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Next Child Star Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Next Child Star Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: 2 Years Worth Supply of Exercise Books + A Golden Luxe Plaque and a Monetary award of N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of N200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira only)

5. Winners of "The Next Child Star Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is N50 (Fifty Naira only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://thenextchildstar.com/photocontest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to parents/guardians of each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Next Child Star Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Next Child Star Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.
