About Oluwadamilare Jesutoromo Deborah:
Questions were answered by Oluwadamilare Chidinma Precious (Oluwadamilare Jesutoromo Deborah's Mother)
What values or life lessons do you strive to instill in your child, and how do they embody those values?
One of the most important values I strive to instill in her is kindness and compassion. I want her to understand the importance of caring for others and treating people with love and respect. I will teach her that every person deserves kindness regardless of their background, appearance, or circumstances. Through simple daily actions such as sharing with friends, helping someone in need, and speaking politely to others, she will learn to embody compassion. As she grows, this value will guide her to become someone who uplifts others and contributes positively to her community. Another value I want her to embrace is honesty and integrity. I will teach her that telling the truth and doing the right thing are always important, even when it may be difficult. By encouraging open communication at home and showing her that honesty builds trust, she will learn to be truthful and responsible for her actions. As she matures, she will embody integrity by making ethical decisions, standing by her values, and earning the respect of those around her.
What aspirations or dreams does your child have for their future? How do they plan to achieve them?
Every child carries within them a world of dreams waiting to unfold. At six years old, my girl stands at the beautiful beginning of discovery. Her mind is full of wonder, her heart is filled with possibilities, and every day she imagines what she might become in the future. She may dream of becoming many things. One day she might say she wants to be a doctor who helps sick people get better. Another day she might imagine herself as a teacher standing in front of a classroom, helping children learn new things. She may dream of being a fashion designer who creates beautiful clothes, an artist who paints colorful pictures, or even a scientist who discovers amazing things about the world. At this age, her aspirations are not limited by fear or doubt. She believes she can do anything. Her dreams are shaped by the stories she hears, the people she admires, the games she plays, and the encouragement she receives from those around her. What matters most is not just what she dreams of becoming, but the confidence she develops while dreaming. As a mother, my greatest responsibility is to nurture these dreams and help her believe that they are possible. I understand that every big achievement begins with small encouragements during childhood. Therefore, I will create an environment where she feels safe to express herself, explore her interests, and develop her talents.
What do you believe makes Oluwadamilare Jesutoromo Deborah truly special and deserving to win this contest?
A child is truly special not just because of talents or achievements, but because of the values, character, and positive impact they bring to the people around them. In a contest that celebrates children, what makes a child deserving to win goes beyond appearance or performance; it reflects who the child is inside and the potential they have to grow into a responsible and inspiring individual.
